    Airstreams has worked with thousands of veterans and can help you connect what you did in the military with what you want to do after transition. With over 60% of our employees’ veterans themselves, many have been where you are.

    You may not realize how valuable the skills you learned during your active duty are and how they translate to the industries that hire our graduates.

    Stepping into your next career is as easy as talking to one of our trained Admission staff.

    Admission Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must provide proof of high school diploma (or equivalent).
    • The student must have the physical ability to climb 300-foot towers. Student weight must not exceed 285 lbs., and must weigh a minimum of 120 lbs. due to equipment limitations.
    • Physical Exertion Disclaimer: Portions of the training are considered physical in nature and will include climbing and hanging from towers up to 300' in height in all conceivable weather conditions. If you have limitations or concerns with training in a physically exerting environment, this course is not recommended for you.
    • Visa services for foreign students are not currently available.

     

    Desired Career Placement standards:

    • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
    • Must not have any felony convictions.
    • Be able to pass a drug test (required by most employers).
    • Work under minimal supervision.
    • Work with people in a team-oriented environment.
    • Have an aptitude for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
    • Be prepared for possible travel or relocation.
    • Be willing to follow industry expectations and work overtime, weekends, and periodically on-call twenty-four hours per day.
  • 2COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS

    Now that you know you have what it takes, the application process is simple.

    • Work with your ARI Admissions Rep to select a start date
    • Complete the application you received and satisfy an Application Review to be accepted to the program (Acceptance does not complete the admissions process).Submit all documents needed for admissions
      • ARI Admission Applications
      • Proof of High School Diploma or Equivalent
      • DD Form 214 (if applicable)
        • Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty
    • Next, our Tuition Funding staff will work with you to ensure you have proper funding sources. You will be contacted upon approval and finalize enrollment to reserve your seat for class.
  • 3TAKE A TOUR (VIRTUAL OR IN PERSON)

    ARI provides training to Active Duty transitioning service members through its Career Skills Program / SkillBridge Program; to discharged veterans; and civilians looking to change careers.

    Military service provides a natural transition into the industries our program leads to, where you can experience the camaraderie of accomplishing the mission of the company you go to work with. The highly valued skill you developed in uniform; such as critical thinking, leadership, and integrity, are sought out by industry leaders.

    To get a glimpse of the campus you will be attending, our ARI Admission Representatives make sure you have a tour.

    Civilian or Veteran Students

    • You will most likely attend our National Training Center in Tehachapi CA.
    • Your ARI Admission Rep will send you a link to view a virtual tour

     

    Career Skills Program/ SkillBridge Program

    Airstreams Renewables, Inc. (ARI) is proud to have been approved through the Department of Defense SkillBridge program offering civilian job training to active duty transitioning service members.

    • You will likely be attending one of our Career SkillBridge Programs
    • Your ARI Admissions Representative will set up a tour on site
